With a Twist of Rhyme is a collection of mostly humorous rhymes with punch-lines or twists at the end. It’s a great book to pick up for a quick laugh when you need one. All family and friends mentioned are real and became subjects of her rhyming exaggerations based on occasions or events in their lives.

The apartment complex in NYC where I lived 50 years was the site of a play-writing group that met monthly for live readings. It was there my playwriting career was born.
The play “Maggie’s Tavern” is taken from real life in Darboy WI where an unkempt old farmer eventually sold his farm for commercial development. My mother was a widow running a tavern and the farmer had a crush on her.
The musical Org’s Orchard has basis in real life where my brother Org has an orchard. He was renamed by spellcheck and has many of the characteristics of the fictional Org.
The song-heavy musicals demonstrate my love of hilarious rhymes.
My first song “School is Kiddy Prison” is my opinion of the school system. It gave rise to Kidokrats, a musical that gives power to children while getting laughs.
